We have one annual fund raiser - the Church Rummage Sale which allows all church members an opportunity to clean out closets.  We average over $1200 in profits.    Our other money maker is hosting the Weimar Red Hat Ladies in October for a festive luncheon.   Much of our funds have been donated to various cChurch Rummage Saleharities including:   Children Protective Services, the Weimar Food Pantry,  Bibles for Soldiers, the Fishes and Loaves ministry, the Weimar Boys and Girls Club, World Vision  and assistance to church members in need.    For a small group of women from a pretty little country church, we can be proud of all we accomplish.

Mo Friends is a group of women who meet annually in the fall for a Christian retreat weekend at Camp Lone Star in La Grange, TX. Camp Lone Star provides the special and unique place for this group of Christian friends to meet, interact, rest, relax and strengthen their spiritual faith.   For many years the group met at Mo Ranch in the Texas Hill Country but the group needed a more central location and we are quite happy with finding our new home near La Grange. In 2014 we celebrated our 25th year of gathering – attendees range in age from twenty something’s to 90 yrs young -- residing all over the state of Texas and we even have 2 attendees from out of state!!

In 2010 we added a winter gathering of the group we call Mid Mo – the Weimar ladies host the group for the weekend at Trinity Church.   We devote Saturday to making dresses from pillowcases to donate to the “Dress a Girl around the World” program or to other mission groups. In 2014 we donated over 80 dresses  to two groups.
